Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. Conditions range from mild to severe and in many cases the abnormalities are visually apparent. Scoliosis may either be genetically based or result from a degenerative joint condition in the spine. Most commonly, it is a cumulative effect of these two factors.

Despite the seriousness of the condition, many individuals with scoliosis may experience no apparent symptoms other than vague muscle back pain and stiffness.

THE EFFECT OF KKT ON SCOLIOSIS

KKT is a non-invasive scoliosis treatment that can be used to override the body’s internal sensory  defenses and relax the surrounding muscles. Otherwise these muscles can contract asymmetrically depending on the mag1nitude of the spinal curve and eventually lead to visual imbalances. Because the curved (scoliotic) spine compresses and rotates three-dimensionally, it must be clinically treated in such a manner as to correct the rotation. By repositioning the vertebrae to a more natural position and re-balancing the spine, early disease correction and prevention of a hyper rotated state is achieved. The KKT process also plays an integral role in stimulating the connective tissues of the spine to promote cellular regeneration.

The full treatment program also includes specifically prescribed dynamic spine mobilization  exercises, which assist the KKT process noted above. The computer generated exercises draw their  input from specific x-ray data.

KKT takes an act ive, rather than passive, approach to treatment. Where traditional treatment allows patients to become dependent on their braces and potentially deteriorate into muscular atrophy and weakness, often leading to surgery, KKT treatment generates greater mobility, immediate spinal  corrections and the time to regenerates unbalanced muscles, joints and bones.

KKT provides patients with renewed hope and is paving the way to preventing the detrimental effects of Scoliosis.

SIGNS OF POTENTIAL CONCERN

  • Uneven hips and waist resulting in escalating discomfort
  • A deformity in the chest causing uneven shoulder blades and a rib hump
  • Shoulders are different heights and one shoulder blade is more prominent
  • Unevenness to breasts
  • Entire body leans to one side

If you have any of these symptoms or related concerns, please schedule a visit to a KKT Centre near you for a thorough assessment.

It’s estimated that 4% of all children between the ages of 10 and 14 have detectable scoliosis with about 60 to 80% of all cases occurring in adolescent girls. Most people with scoliosis have barely noticeable curvatures.

TESTIMONIAL

I came to the KKT Centre after being recommended by a friend. I was suffering from a severe case of scoliosis and wanted to explore treatment options before committing to a more aggressive surgical alternative. After my first treatment I could feel the change in my structure. Shortly after a series of treatments, the results were obvious.

I had a very measurable outcome resulting in no surgery! I’m grateful to KKT and Dr. Khan.

Often described as the “scourge of the century”, back pains and related disorders have always frustrated patients and kept doctors in dilemma with regards to providing a remedy. With the advancement of technology and kinetic treatment a ray of hope has emerged for those suffering from it. To enable local citizens to have recourse to such treatment, KKT international opened a clinic in Phoenix. The launching ceremony took place on August 26th in the presence of Ministers Suren Dayal and Cader Sayed-Hossen.

The KKT Orthopaedic Spine Centre proposes the Khan Kinetic Treatment (KKT), which makes use of special machines that allow to realign the spine and delay its aging, as well as to bet-ter position intervertebral discs. The treatment, developed by Dr Aslam Khan, will be provided in Mauritius by Dr Reebye.

“This treatment does not imply surgery or injection. It is painless and non-invasive,” pointed out Dr Reebye on the occasion.

Dr Reebye added that the KKT treatment comprises 12 sessions of 15 minutes each. “We send them x-ray reports that they analyse before commending any kind of treatment. It is at the level of the Canadian KKT Orthopaedic Spine Centre that the number of sessions that will be required for a patient is decided,” underlined the doctor. He also stated that the clinic would soon embark on organising outreach programs throughout the island.

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has recently formalized an alliance with KKT Orthopedic Spine Center to conduct spinal screenings and provide spine revitalization treatments to all of their players. It is well known that more than half of catastrophic injuries in sports are spine related and is the leading cause paralysis. The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has decided to take a proactive role in securing their players’ health by working with the global leader in spine treatment – KKT.

KKT’s advanced Quantum Wave technology provides a safe, non-invasive treatment regimen that has been scientifically proven to revitalize the spine. By consistently applying the treatment to the spine, players will diminish their chances of spinal injury while at the same time increase their coordination, speed, and agility. This breakthrough treatment reverses many of the trauma the spine experiences during intense game play, therefore it has become treatment of choice for athletes. Secretary General of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) commented in a written statement, “We have a clear understanding of KKT ability to completely revitalize the spine and offset many of the stresses the game of field hockey places on the spine. A strong and healthy spine…can increase the coordination between brain and body, which can bring their game play to new heights. If KKT treatment is adopted throughout the league, we are sure that this will increase the power, speed, agility and competitiveness with which the sport is played.”

Recent studies have shown that the introduction of astroturf has decreased sports related injuries overall, however, the number of injuries related to the spine have increased dramatically. The exact cause of this dramatic increase is still under investigation, however, to protect themselves, players should undergo routine screenings of their spine at a nearby KKT Orthopedic Spine Center. Their advanced imaging and analysis technology is capable of detecting even subtle abnormalities of the spine, allowing doctor to diagnose and treat spinal problems before they lead to permanent injury.
